NEW TO LACROSSE

LACROSSE — IT'S NOT AS COMPLICATED AS IT LOOKS.

Three minutes here, you'll know what to buy and what to skip. Or come into the shop in Orem and we'll do it with you.

FOUR QUESTIONS, AND WE'LL BUILD THEIR FIRST KIT.

Answer these and you're done guessing.

01 How old is your kid?

U9–U10 → 37" shaft, beginner head. U11–U12 → 40" shaft, mid-flex head. HS → 40–43" shaft, pro-spec head. Full sizing chart →

02 Are they playing rec, club, or just trying it?

Rec: a starter stick is plenty. Club: spend up on the head, not the shaft. Just trying it: rent a full kit from us for the season — way cheaper than buying.

03 What does the team require?

Most Utah County rec leagues want: stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, arm pads, mouthguard, cleats. Goalies are different — call or text us at (801) 855-6179 and we'll walk you through it.

04 What about a strung stick?

Every stick we sell comes strung and ready to play. If you bought a stick somewhere else, drop it off and we'll string it — same-week turnaround. More on our stringing service →

STARTER STICKS & BUNDLES.

Curated by Taylor — every stick on this list comes strung and ready to play.

Starter kits collection is empty

Once Taylor creates the starter-kits collection in admin and adds products, they'll show up here automatically. Until then, this is a placeholder.

PARENT QUESTIONS, ANSWERED STRAIGHT.

If yours isn't here, call or text us. We pick up.

How much should I spend on a first stick?

Most parents land at $59–$120 for a complete starter stick. Anything more than that is wasted on a beginner — they'll outgrow the shaft before they outgrow the head.

Will the stick last more than one season?

If they treat it OK, yes — 2–3 seasons for most kids before they outgrow the length, not the gear.

Do I need new gear every year?

No. Helmets and pads last 3+ seasons. Sticks last until they outgrow the shaft length.
